Ophthalmia
Ophthalmia is a general term that refers to "inflammation of the eye", and particularly the conjunctiva.

Sympathetic ophthalmia is another form of uveitis (inflammation
of the eye) and can affect all parts of the uveal tract of the eyes. This condition is known to develop following some
cases of trauma and, although more rarely, occasionally following some surgical
producures on the eyes.
