Pediculicide
The word pediculicide applies to therapeutic agents - including natural substances such as herbs, oils, or essences, or conventional pharmaceutical drugs, that kill and therefore destroy lice.
Examples of chemical pediculicides include:
- benzyl benzoate
- carbaryl
- lindane
- malathione, and
- permethrin.
