Brachialis

The brachialis are a pair of muscles located in each of the upper-arms of the human body.

Examples of sports activities that involve use of the brachialis muscles include gymnastics and climbing.

Origin, Insertion and Actions of the Brachialis muscles:

Point of Origin:
  • Lower anterior surface of humerus (bone)
Point of Insertion:
Action:
  • Flexes (causing bending of) the elbow
