Palatine bones

The two small "L-shaped" palatine bones are among the facial bones of the head.
Location:
The two palatine bones are located at the back of the roof of the mouth.
Function(s):
The two palatine bones form the bottom of the orbitals and nasal cavities and also the roof of the mouth.
