Neuritis
Definition
Neuritis is a disease of the peripheral nerves showing the pathological changes of inflammation.
The word neuritis is sometimes also used in a less precise way to refer to any disease of the peripheral nerves, typically conditions that cause weakness and numbness in some peripheral nerves.
